For the past three or four years I have spent countless hours ravaging every available resource on today’s technologies from website and web application development to desktop programming. Hoping to evolve my experience beyond the web and desktop world I spent considerable time in the Linux/Unix arena having managed a multitude of enterprise applications and have even developed a few of my own small creations – although the Windows world is where I’m most comfortable development wise. I still spend a great deal of time working in Linux/Unix environments whether managing applications, configuring server environments, or providing others with assistance on doing the same.
Networking soon became a passion of mine as well ultimately leading me to obtain a CompTIA Network+ certification last year followed by the CompTIA A+ certification. As my knowledge began to grow so did my desire to help others. Learning technology is a blast, and the sheer volume of information could certainly keep me busy for an eternity, but I began wanting to show others how to effectively utilize what I had learned.
I was soon building websites for everyone, hosting a variety of domains, email accounts, and web applications. Chris Fay Consulting, LLC was born out of this chaos ultimately focused on meeting the desire to provide quality services to customers without making them spend a fortune – or even a sub-fortune. Why? Well, because I couldn’t see myself NOT doing it.
If you would like a bit more details on my own personal experiences, strengths, as well as my desktop application portfolio, please see my resume located at: chrisfay.net.
